This type of license allows to activate and use the software only on one computer.
Possible Cases:

• TRANSFER SILICACAD TO ANOTHER PC: Uninstall SILICACAD from the original PC to comply with the licensing regulations. The deinstallation can be performed in the traditional way through the Windows Control panel. To enable the license on a new PC, simply install and activate SILICACAD. A warning message will appear during the activation process reminding the license terms. Note the SILICACAD license is not transferable to other users or companies.
• CHANGE OF PC: If the old computer remains functional, it is necessary to uninstall SILICACAD to comply with the single licensing regulations. The deinstallation can be performed in the traditional way through the Windows Control panel. In case the computer is totally dismantled, no operation is required. Install and activate SILICACAD on your new computer, a warning message will appear to remind the license terms.
• DISK FORMATTING: No operation is required before formatting. After formatting, simply install and activate SILICACAD. A warning message will appear during the activation process reminding the license terms.
• DISK/PC CRASH:  Simply install and activate SILICACAD. A warning message will appear during the activation process reminding the license terms.
• DISK CHANGE through CLONING: replacing the Hard Drive Disk of your computer through its cloning (for example, switching to the Solid – State Drive), after having cloned the disk and launched SILICACAD, there will appear an error message with the code CF0x08 (new activation is required). Simply repeat the activation of SILICACAD going to SILICACAD CENTER > the button REGISTER SILICACAD to make SILICACAD operative. Also in this case a warning message will appear during the activation process reminding the license terms.

The license with the USB protection dongle allows to install and activate SILICACAD on all the computers you want. Afterwards SILICACAD can be used by attaching the USB dongle to a computer with the software.
If you have several USB licenses, we remind you that SILICACAD USB dongles are interchangeable for the same version.

If you need to transfer the NLM SERVER, first you need to “release” active licenses. For the procedure please refer to the NLM User Guide, accessible directly from NLM SERVER MONITOR (the button ” User Guide (PDF)”).
If you need to move/reinstall only SILICACAD (Client), simply proceed to the normal installation of SILICACAD, then follow the guided activation procedure inserting the NLM Server data present in your network ( with no connection limits, the Server is automatically identified at the beginning of the procedure).
